Course Description

This course introduces fundamental concepts and methodologies of educational research at the introductory level. Students learn the rationale, procedures, and limitations of quantitative and qualitative research methods, develop skills in data analysis, and gain experience in designing educational research proposals while adhering to research ethics.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Understand and apply basic educational research methodologies

• Design a solid educational research proposal

• Conduct basic qualitative or quantitative data analysis

• Participate ethically and actively in an academic research community
